Choose Your Strum Pattern

Pick the strumming pattern that matches your song's feel. Slow Rock uses a 6/8 fingerpicking pattern, perfect for ballads and acoustic songs. Ballad is an 8-note picking pattern for emotional, flowing pieces. Pop / Country alternates bass notes and strums in 4/4 time. Waltz follows a classic 3/4 rhythm with bass-and-treble picking.
